A Faith-Filled Senior Photography Session in West Bend, Wisconsin


I honestly don’t know which part of Macy’s senior session I loved more.


Was it the rustic barn and tall grasses, where she brought along the sweetest pops of flowers, her cowboy boots, and her favorite bracelet that represented her boyfriend? Or maybe it was the peaceful creek, where her white dress flowed so beautifully in the soft, golden sunset.


Then again… I think I know my favorite.


The tall grasses, little pops of flowers, and Macy sitting quietly with her Bible.


I absolutely loved that she wanted to include her faith in her senior session. At this age, it can sometimes feel scary for teenagers to openly share what they believe or proudly show that their faith is an important part of who they are. And that’s one of the things I admire so much about Macy.


She is beautiful on the outside, but her heart and soul are even more beautiful.


Including her Bible in these portraits wasn’t just another prop. It was a little glimpse into what matters to her and the foundation she’s carrying with her into this next chapter of life. And honestly, those are the images I know she’ll treasure long after her senior year is over.


The afternoon was filled with so much laughter, chatting, giggles, and fun. These are the sessions I cherish most ... getting to slow down, capture this fleeting season, and truly get to know each teen who steps in front of my camera.


Senior pictures are about so much more than pretty photographs.


They’re about capturing her, the things she loves, the people who matter, the little details that tell her story, and the faith that guides her.


Macy, it was such a joy getting to spend this afternoon with you. I hope when you look back on these images years from now, you don’t just see a beautiful girl in a beautiful season… I hope you see the girl you were, the faith you carried, and the beautiful beginning of everything that was still ahead of you.
