Country Senior Pictures in Kewaskum, WI | Alexya’s Senior Session


There are some senior sessions that stay with you long after the camera is put away; and Alexya’s is one of them.

As a Kewaskum, Wisconsin senior photographer, I have had the honor of watching this beautiful young woman face some incredibly difficult seasons with a strength and courage that truly inspires me. Alexya is one of the strongest, bravest, and sweetest souls I have ever met, and she still greets me with that same beautiful smile every time I see her.


When Alexya requested me as her senior photographer, I was incredibly honored. I knew right away that her senior pictures needed to capture more than just how beautiful she is, they needed to tell her story.


A country girl at heart, Alexya wanted her senior photography session to include the things she loves most. From her animals and FFA accomplishments to her tractor and four-wheeler, she came with so many fun ideas that I couldn't wait to bring to life.


Her session was the perfect reflection of her personality; country, fun, adventurous, and completely her. We incorporated meaningful details from her life and the activities she has worked so hard for, creating senior portraits that feel personal rather than posed.


I especially love when a senior session becomes a visual story of who a young woman is during this important season of her life. Senior pictures should celebrate accomplishments, personality, hobbies, and the people and memories that have shaped who they are.


One of the most meaningful parts of Alexya’s session was finding a way to honor her late brother. She wanted him to be part of her senior pictures and to represent the special place he will always hold in her heart. Together, we created a beautiful composite portrait, placing her brother among the clouds above her—as if she were looking up toward heaven and seeing him there.


It was her way of carrying his memory with her during this important milestone and representing someone she loves deeply, even though he could not physically be there. The image is a beautiful reminder that the people we love continue to be part of our stories, our memories, and the moments we wish they could be here to experience with us.


Alexya’s courage throughout everything life has placed in her path is truly an inspiration. Her strength, kindness, and joyful spirit shine through every image, and I am so grateful she trusted me to document this special chapter of her life—and to help her honor her brother in such a personal way.


It was such an honor to create these country senior pictures in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, and to celebrate this incredible young woman, her accomplishments, her passions, and the people she holds closest to her heart. I have no doubt that Alexya is going to do amazing things in the years ahead.
